It was great to be back in Bratislava for the launch of the Visualising Climate Crisis exhibition, a culmination of a five-month mentorship by NOOR, Kadir van Lohuizen, and Esther Horvath.
Through the programme and exhibition, 11 selected photographers from Slovakia, Czechia, Hungary and Poland bring forward various aspects of the climate crisis in Central Europe. I had the pleasure to show my project on wetland and ecosystem restoration in Slovakia, highlighting the vital work of BROZ - Regional Association for Nature Conservation and Sustainable Development.
The outdoor exhibition is on display on the bank of the Danube - Vajanského Embankment until 31 July, and will then travel to Hungary, Czechia, and Poland.
Many thanks to Slovak Press Photo, the International Visegrad Fund, and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Slovakia for their support.
